A non-judgmental ear you offered when they needed to talk or when they confided
Your loving heart brought smiles to their faces and your gentle hand wiped their tears
You were their tower of strength during some of their toughest days, weeks and years
You cared for them with compassion and sometimes went above your duty of call
You kept them safe, shared their pain and joy, and gave them your all
And sometimes you never received thanks for the job you did so brilliantly
